ICMB25 Special Issue – UCL Open Environment

 
UCL Open Environment is a fully open access, peer-reviewed journal committed to tackling environmental challenges through transparent, inclusive and multi-disciplinary publishing that showcases radical and critical thinking on real-world issues, with the overall aim of benefitting humanity.

The ICMB25 series will be published in UCL Open Environment, taking research presented in the ICMB25 abstracts (available here: https://journals.uclpress.co.uk/ucloe/collections/628/) through open peer review on the journal’s preprint server to publication.

Published by UCL Press, the journal’s publishing model is shaped by three principles: openness, fairness, and relevance to real-world impact. All content is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, and the journal does not charge any APCs for submission or publication.

UCL Open Environment is globally disseminated and indexed in major databases including DOAJ, Scopus and PubMed Central, ensuring articles in the ICMB25 series is discoverable and citable.

The University of Minho, renowned for its commitment to excellence in research and education, is pleased to present a proposal to host the next International Conference on Moisture in Buildings (ICMB 25) in Guimarães. This document outlines our vision and plan for organizing and hosting this significant event, which will bring together leading experts, researchers, and professionals from around the globe to discuss and address the critical issues related to moisture in buildings.

The ICMB 25 conference aims to provide a comprehensive platform for the exchange of innovative ideas, research findings, and practical solutions pertaining to moisture control, building sustainability, and the impact of moisture on building materials and health. Our goal is to facilitate a multidisciplinary dialogue that will enhance understanding and foster collaborations to advance the field.
